Rome, 12th March 2024 – Mr. Abdellatif Bardach, President of ANRE, in his capacity as President of the Mediterranean Energy Regulators Association (MEDREG), participated in the high-level international conference titled "Transitioning Energy in the Mediterranean", held on 12th March 2024 in Rome, Italy.
This significant event, organized by the World Energy Council Italy, the Mediterranean Energy and Climate Observatory (OMEC), and Edison, provided a platform for showcasing Morocco’s dedication to energy transition notably through the recent unveiling of the “Morocco Offer” aimed at advancing green hydrogen development. This initiative, guided by the directives of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, May God Assist Him, seeks to position Morocco as a leader in renewable energy leadership.
The dialogue fostered at this critical juncture with regional and international stakeholders holds paramount importance in shaping a more sustainable regional energy landscape.
