Mr. Abdellatif BARDACH, President of the National Electricity Regulatory Authority, was elected on Wednesday, November 25, 2020, Vice-President of the Association of Mediterranean Energy Regulators (MEDREG), during its 30th General Assembly held online by videoconference, a technique imposed by the current context of the Covid-19 pandemic.
During this General Assembly, the members of the Presidency Board, composed of the President and three Vice Presidents, were elected for the period 2020-2022. They are:
(i) Mr. Petrit AHMETI, as President (Albanian Energy Regulator – ERE);
(ii) Mr. Abdellatif BARDACH, as Vice President (National Electricity Regulatory Authority of Morocco – ANRE);
(iii) Mr. Karem MAHMOUD, as Vice President (Egyptian Gas Regulatory Authority – GASREG)
(iv) the permanent Vice President Mr. Stefano BESSEGHINI (Italian Regulatory Authority for Energy, Networks and Environment – ARERA).
