On 22 May 2023, the President of President of the Moroccan National Electricity Regulatory Authority (ANRE), Abdellatif Bardach, took part in the Board of Trustees and the General Assembly of the Arab Electricity Regulators Forum, hosted by the United Arab Emitrates in Dubaï.
Mr. Bardach highlighted the importance of interconnections in the development of large-scale renewable energies, as well as the growing opportunities that represent the development of green hydrogen in Arab countries.
Mr. Bardach, also President of the Association of Mediterranean Energy Regulators (MEDREG) reiterated his commitment to promote a sustainable, competitive, and secure energy market in the Mediterranean region including its large Arab component.
