In the dynamics of the cooperation reinforcement between the Kingdom of Morocco and the United States, ANRE and NARUC organize a Peer-to-Peer Forum on energy regulation

The National Electricity Regulatory Authority (ANRE) and the National Association of Regulatory Utility Commissioners (NARUC) jointly organized the first activity of the Energy Regulatory Institutional strengthening program, launched under the auspices of the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), in the form of a Peer-to-Peer Forum on the Evaluation of Electricity Transmission Investment Plans, from 7th to 9th February 2023 in Rabat.

The opening ceremony was led by His Excellency Mr. Puneet Talwar, Ambassador of the United States to Morocco, and Mr. Abdellatif Bardach, President of ANRE, who welcomed this opportunity to further strengthen ties between the Kingdom of Morocco and the United States. His Excellency Mr. Talwar, stressed that “today, the United States and Morocco are expanding their partnerships in the field of energy regulation and committing to act together to fight climate change while ensuring energy security.
