Rabat, June 26, 2023 – The President of the National Electricity Regulatory Authority (ANRE), Mr. Abdellatif Bardach, received on Monday June 26, 2023 in Rabat, a high-level delegation from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD). Led by Mr. Mark Bowman, in his capacity as Vice-President in charge of policies and partnerships, the EBRD delegation took part in a meeting devoted to the presentation of ANRE’s missions and projects, as well as to the challenges and potential of renewable energies in the Kingdom of Morocco. Discussions also focused on ways to strengthen the partnership between ANRE and the European financial institution. The ANRE teams thus had rich and constructive exchanges with the members of the EBRD delegation, thus helping to open up new horizons of potential cooperation between the two institutions.
