ANRE - Morocco signs a cooperation agreement with ARE - Democratic Republic of Congo

The National Electricity Regulatory Authority (ANRE) of Morocco and the Electricity Regulatory Authority (ARE) of the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) signed a cooperation agreement, on the 22 January 2021 in Rabat, to establish basis for regulatory cooperation between the two parties in order to achieve their missions in the electricity regulation sector. Initialed by the President of ANRE, Mr. Abdellatif BARDACH, and his Congolese counterpart, Mr. Louis KAHINDO BOYA-BOZENE, currently visiting the kingdom. This agreement’s purpose is to promote the exchange and transfer of knowledge between both regulators. The signature ceremony was also attended by Mr. Henri MANGAYA YANGE MONDOWA, the Ambassador of DRC, and Mr. Maximilien MUNGA, PCA of the Coordination and Management Unit in the Ministry of Energy of the DRC.
