Morocco is strengthening its cooperation with ERSE, the energy regulator in Portugal.

On July 10 and 11, 2019, at the ERSE headquarters in Lisbon, the President of the Portuguese regulator Mrs. Maria Cristina Portugal received her Moroccan counterpart, Mr. Abdellatif BARDACH, for a working visit aimed at strengthening cooperation between the two energy regulators.

The ANRE explores synergies with Mediterranean regulators to integrate RES in its electricity market.

On February 25, 2019, the association of Mediterranean regulators (MEDREG) received in Milan Mr. Abdellatif Bardach, President of the National Electricity Regulatory Authority, to exchange expertise and best practices in the regulation of electricity markets in the Mediterranean.
