Rabat, 31st January 2024 - The Board of the National Electricity Regulatory Authority (ANRE) unanimously approved the national electricity system's capacity to receive electricity from renewable sources for the next five years: 2024 - 2028.
Rabat, the 27th of December 2023–- The president of the National Electricity Regulatory Authority (ANRE), Mr. Abdellatif Bardach, presented on Wednesday December 27, 2023 in Rabat, to the members of the Infrastructure and Energy, mines and the environment Commission of the House of Representatives, the activity report of the Authority, relating to the financial year 2022. The report concerns in this case the second year of activity of the ANRE, after the entry into force, on April 21, 2021, of Law No. 48-15 relating to the regulation of the electricity sector and the creation of ANRE.
Rabat, the 14th December 2023 - As part of strengthening the capacities and skills of its employees, the National Electricity Regulatory Authority (ANRE) participated in a new training session delivered by the National Association of Regulatory Utility Commissioners (NARUC) of the United States. This new activity, which was held from December 12 to 14, 2023 in Rabat, is part of the program to strengthen regulatory institutions in the energy field launched under the auspices of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID).
Valleta the 5th December 2023 - The President of the National Electricity Regulatory Authority (ANRE), Mr. Abdellatif Bardach, led the 36th General Assembly of the Association of Mediterranean Energy Regulators (MEDREG) in his capacity as President of the Mediterranean Association, this Tuesday, December 5 in Valletta. This event, which was held in the Maltese capital, in the heart of the Mediterranean Sea, brought together the Vice-Presidents of MEDREG, Representatives of the European Commission, as well as the Presidents and representatives of regulators who are members of the Association.
