The National Electricity Regulatory Authority (ANRE) hosted a meeting, on July 6, 2021, at its headquarters in Rabat, to formally launch the various projects dictated by Law 48.15, with a delegation from the National Office of Electricity and Drinking Water (ONEE) led by its General Director Mr. Abderrahim EL HAFIDI.
The National Electricity Regulatory Authority of Morocco and the Electricity Regulatory Authority of the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) signed an agreement, on the 22nd January 2021 in Rabat, to establish basis for regulatory cooperation of the electricity sector.
The board of the National Electricity Regulatory Authority (ANRE) held its second meeting, under the chairmanship of Mr. Abdellatif BARDACH, on December 28th 2020, at the Authority's headquarters in Rabat. This meeting was attended by all board members via videoconference, in order to designate the external auditor and discuss the work progress of ANRE's 2021-2025 strategic roadmap.
The board of the National Electricity Regulatory Authority (ANRE) held its first meeting, under the chairmanship of Mr. Abdellatif BARDACH, on October 21, 2020, from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm, at the Authority's headquarters in Rabat, in the presence of all board member, for the examination and approval of a set of documents and decisions, including the ANRE's 2021-2025 strategic roadmap.
Mr. Abdellatif BARDACH, President of the National Electricity Regulatory Authority, was elected on Wednesday, November 25, 2020, Vice-President of the Association of Mediterranean Energy Regulators (MEDREG), during its 30th General Assembly held online by videoconference, a technique imposed by the current context of the Covid-19 pandemic.
