As part of the implementation of the High Orientations of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God glorify and assist Him, regarding the national energy sector and in line with the national energy strategy, the National Electricity Regulatory Authority was established under Law No. 48-15 relating to the regulation of the electricity sector and the creation of the National Electricity Regulatory Authority, promulgated by Dahir No. 1-16-60 of 17 Shaaban 1437 (May 24, 2016).
On February 18, 2020, Maroc Magazine returns with the 4th edition of the Matinées de l'Industrie (industry mornings). Dedicated to the theme of energy, this edition was marked by the presentation of two keynotes and three panels bringing together a large number of leaders and experts in the energy sector, around the theme “What energy for Moroccan industry?”
Mr. Abdellatif BARDACH, President of the National Electricity Regulatory Authority, participated on Monday, November 19, 2018, in the 14th edition opening ceremony and in the panel of the Energy Conference: "Energy Transition: what regional geostrategy by 2050", at the Mohammed VI International Conference Center in Skhirat.
The President of the National Electricity Regulatory Authority (ANRE), Mr. Abdellatif BARDACH, received in Rabat on July 25, 2019 MEDREG Secretariat represented by Mrs. Veronica Lenzi and Mrs. Daphne Lacroix. A visit that aims at strengthening collaboration with the Moroccan regulator, reinforcing MEDREG's messages at the national and regional levels and involving them in the association's national and regional reform activities.
The future of energy cooperation in the Mediterranean was highlighted at the conference that was entitled "MEDREG Support to Energy Regulatory Reforms in the Southern Mediterranean", which took place on September 19, 2019 in Brussels. During this one-day event, the Mediterranean Regulators' Association (MEDREG) shared some of the successes of the last two years in the field of energy, through the voices and testimonies of six member regulators: Morocco, Algeria, Egypt, Jordan, Palestine and Israel.
