The National Electricity Regulatory Authority, received on 2nd March 2023 in its headquarters in Rabat, a delegation of the National Agency for Electrification and Energy Services in rural and peri-urban areas (ANSER) of the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC).
The President of the National Electricity Regulatory Authority (ANRE), Mr. Abdellatif Bardach, in his capacity as President of MEDREG, met with directorate representatives of the European Commission, namely Ms. Cristina Lobillo Borrero and Mr. Cyril Dewaleyne, on the 15th and 16th March 2023 in Brussels, to discuss a wide range of topics related to the role of energy regulators in the Mediterranean region.
The National Electricity Regulatory Authority (ANRE) and the National Association of Regulatory Utility Commissioners (NARUC) jointly organized the first activity of the Energy Regulatory Institutional strengthening program, launched under the auspices of the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), in the form of a Peer-to-Peer Forum on the Evaluation of Electricity Transmission Investment Plans, from 7th to 9th February 2023 in Rabat.
On December 21, 2022, the Council of the National Electricity Regulatory Authority (ANRE) unanimously adopted the methodology for determining the tariff for the national electricity transmission network. This methodology sets the rules and terms according to which the tariff will be calculated and applied to the users of the said network.
